With the election time near, political platforms start heating up. Whether you are pro or anti certain political party what better way to express than with design. Do you Follow Client Instructions?

Many designers think they know more than their client. Wrong! Remember the rule 'the customer is always right' - this holds true here also.

You might be good at what you do and you might know more about the industry but telling the client they are wrong or going against their wishes is an instant path to doom. Do this if you want to lose a client. If you do not do anything that is given in the project brief and ignore the client's wishes, you are likely to lose a client.

You can never know more than the client about his industry and services. Ask questions. Try to understand what your client wants and if you still think that you have a brilliant idea, discuss without sounding offensive. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the client and keep the communication flowing. The client would definitely appreciate you for your professional and communication skills. You will be surprised when he even agrees to what you have to say, but only because you were polite and listened to what he said first. Showing the client a new perspective will work if done right and not rudely.
