Newbie logo designers often think that creating complicated logos will make their logo stand out and earn them the right to greatness; however, this is rarely the case. The whole approach is wrong to begin with. Complicated logo designs are never much appreciated let alone stand out. These stand in contrast to the simple logos which make a bigger impression, believe it or not!
Simplicity is one of the key points of logo designing. Couple this with originality, creativity and analytic skills and you are on your way to being a winner. Sooner or later it will come to you and you will rise up in your career because of your originality and not because you were creating crazy complicated designs.
All fields of graphic designing, be it logo or web design, are an art form that heavily bank on creativity and uniqueness. A logo design that is copied or is not original would not be appreciated and would immediately discredit you as a logo designer. Take out the time to think of original concepts for the logo design and let your creativity flow, instead of blocking it by copy, pasting and then modifying it.
